Yes, I do. :) And I'm okay with agreeing to disagree, I have no problem being an eternal optimist. I understand that life isn't like that now, I'd just like to see more emphasis and effort put toward a more utopian future I suppose.

Off to enjoy a beautiful Sunday!

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

greed, corruption and little-known government and corporate activities that America has been involved in since WW11, and which have

As an "economic hitman","he convinced developing countries to accept enormous loans and to funnel that money to US corporations. The American government and international aid agencies then requested their "pound of flesh", including access to natural resources,

While I do think the Boston Marathon bombers were inspired to do this for Islamic reasons, I think it was mainly the idiot things young males do, especially when their lives aren't working out. The older brother's life was falling apart. His girlfriend had left him and taken their child. He just wanted to find purpose to his life, and blowing up some Americans gave it meaning.

Oh my...

The two brothers suspected in the Boston Marathon bombings, who police say engaged in a gun battle with officers early Friday after a frenzied manhunt, were not licensed to own guns in the towns where they lived, authorities said on Sunday.

In the confrontation with police on the streets of a Boston suburb, Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev were armed with handguns, at least one rifle and several explosive devices, authorities say.

But neither brother appears to have been legally entitled to own or carry firearms where they lived, a fact that may add to the national debate over current gun laws. Last week, the U.S. Senate rejected a bill to expand background checks on gun purchases, legislation that opponents argued would do nothing to stop criminals from buying guns illegally.

The local CBS Boston station is saying the brothers only had one pistol between them and shot the one police officer to get his gun. Many police guns are carried in special retention holsters that make it hard to pull out unless you do it at the right angle. They did leave the dead officer's gun. So maybe Massachusset's tough gun laws worked in this case? Or didn't work since they just used bombs instead?

How did they get the first gun? Coming out is a story possibly linking the older brother to a triple murder of one of his MMA sparring buddies and possibly the gun came from that murder which included a beheading. The sparring buddy was a drug dealer who might have been selling the younger brother MJ, possible reason for the older brother to kill him.

We need to treat this shit like the Israelis do. They get a bomb blast in a cafe, the next day the cafe is open and packed full of people. We also need to do what you just did and not use the killers names (asshole#1 and asshole#2 works for me). I suppose it will take quite a few more attacks before we can brush them off as another one of lifes risks, but the sooner we show strength instead of panic, the better. And I agree, this is just the beginning of what is to come. I do like how the stock market is staying strong, unlike 9/11/01..

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Ànd now #2 has three public defenders paid for with tax dollars. Cheaper to "accidentally" finish his suicide attempt.
