What hypocrisy? I am pointing out that the tools here celebrating the reading of Dr. Seuss by Calgary Cruz as though it would stop the funding of the ACA are really idiots. I get that you are trying to deflect from the topic at hand, but the actions of Wendy Davis in filibustering the restriction on abortions rights in the state house of Texas have little to do with the celebration of Dr. Seuss in an unattended floor speech by Cruz that does absolutely nothing with the delay or filibustering of the Senate vote stripping the ACA defunding provision in the CR. But you knew that didn't you.Walter L Newton wrote:

Cruz is not filibustering, he is not preventing a vote on the stripping the defunding provision from the CR, he is not even delaying the vote which occurs later today. Reid agreed to give him up to 30 hours on the floor to speak, and he is not even speaking about the ACA or defunding it, he is reciting Green Eggs and Ham. Yet somehow this grandstanding is in the eyes of the tools on this board as being constructive in stopping the ACA. Yep, typical conservatives, all blowhards, no action.
Neither was Wendy Davis in Texas yet she became a media star and hero. It all depends on the issue... doesn't it?

Colorado set up its own exchanges, but I doubt they vary much from the federal exchanges. They vary by state.. And, there is assistance for lower income enrollees. The federal plams are lower in cost than expected. Single anecdotal stories do not define the ACA.Obam me wrote:

Hey Arch...give me a couple of days and I'll post some ACTUAL premiums of REAL Coloradans. I've not only seen them, I have spoken to the families who are absolutely scared to death about how they are going to afford these outrageous premiums. What I have did not come out of some stupid report from a stupid government news agency. I have the real thing. You'll be so proud to see what this POS legislation is doing to the peasants. All of you who voted for the current administration not only once, but twice, owe the rest of us an apology.

What an idiotic statement. The health care premiums under the exchanges provided in ObamaCares have been shown to be coming in at rates well less than expected. And if your alleged "families" have difficulty in affording them, then they no doubt will be eligible for tax credits which will make their health insurance even more affordable. But then you would not have an "outrage" to rant about then.Obam me wrote:

So tax credits will be given to some people who can't afford it? And where will they get the money for those tax credits? Either from taxpayers or from increasing the debt of the US and passing it onto our grandkids. Dog, there is no free lunch!Something the Dog Said wrote:

Fred, until you start sourcing your "facts", your posts are considered nonsense and will not be considered. Have a great life.FredHayek wrote:

Goody, your payments went down but someone will be paying it, more than likely, your heirs.
