Well he was doing sales at the company so he ego whas quite big and had no problem tromping on the little guy.
When he left the company he opened the exact same type of company and he wanted to use the same software. Lucky for the company I was working for the software company said no it was a conflict of interest.
For me that was just the nail in the coffin on how I feel about him. Some of the other stuff you may consider just office gossip so I do not feel that it is right to post the specifics.
If Hickenlooper even feels that he is a threat I am sure that all the skeletons will come out of the closet before the election.
"Hours after denying that a former supporter gave him a cash gift to help make mortgage payments, Republican gubernatorial nominee Dan Maes said he now doesn’t remember if $300 given to him by Freda Poundstone was a campaign contribution or to help with his mortgage or other family matters."
According to a political lobbyist, Freda Poundstone, "she gave Maes “more than $300″ because he was struggling to pay his mortgage and insisted it was gift, not a campaign contributions. She challenged Maes to take a polygraph with her to settle the issue."
So long as both houses of the legislature aren't in control of the Democrats when he's sworn in, I won't lose much sleep over that if it comes to pass.
Viking, what I find interesting is the Tea Party is a spin-off of the Republican Party -- meaning they started their own party because they're not happy with the way the Republicans are running things in their own party.
You either need to get the Republican Party to try and bring those disenfranchised Tea Party members back into the fold or start a spin-off of the Democratic Party, to even things up -- so there are two parties on each side. Personally, I'd love to see a center moderate party.
I like the latter idea. There's no reason the United States should have only two viable political parties.
have to agree with printsmith, not going to lose any sleep over it. not much time before the election in november, but if things keep tanking we just might see a major move right in votes. i didn't think maes had much of a chance to get this far but with the mood of the people he just might beat hickenlooper, especially after they go after loopy's sanctuary city for illegals, whether it is true or not.
bumper sticker - honk if you will pay my mortgage

"A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government." Thomas Jefferson

I’ve read in the past where you’ve said you would never vote for another republican, and I’ve read, and even defended your stance on illegal immigration.
Have I got a candidate for you, he’s not a Republican, He has held a very strong stance against illegal immigration for a very long time.

As Tancredo put it, Maes's position on the subject has "evolved". How much faith can you put on Maes since he has no track record?
I saw Dan Maes's early website, and he did in fact support a "path to citizenship for illegals". Maes denied it, until the old website was make public. I had the link; it’s on one of those web archrival sites, way back machine or something like that. As soon as I can find the link I'll post it. Maes was not even aware such archival sites exist, I guess he thought that once you delete a web page it’s gone forever. rofllol rofllol rofllol rofllol
