Proven untrue this time... now watch how much Hillary and Bill get for their speeches... they won't be able to draw flies since there is no more influence to sell.
As for Trump, I'm going to do what I did with Obama and hope my first instincts were wrong. I was right about Obama but fortunately he spent so much time golfing and vacationing that he wasn't able to create the socialist hell hole he wanted. I think liberal arrogance made him think that all he had to do was start a movement and the people would gladly swallow it.
?? Yeah...He just pulled us out of the biggest economic depression since 1929.

I'll try but you got some real winners here...It's hard not to yell WTH!? after reading some of thier absurd wrongheaded submissions.

Do you think that just occured naturally? lol
The US did not start climbing out until the TEA Party took over. What specific deeds did President Obama do to end the recession? Legalize same sex marriage to revitalize the wedding industry? Wrong! The Supreme Court did that.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
Rick, can you give me some examples showing how Obama tried to create a "socialist hell hole?" I don't see that at all in anything he's done, and since we had balance between the parties who controlled the Executive Branch and Legislative Branch, there wasn't as much to fear as there is now with one single party controlling both. And I say that as an Unaffiliated voter who shudders at the thought of Dems controlling everything as well. I still think we need to get a 3rd party in Congress in enough of a majority to start forcing more compromise and less useless partisan rhetoric.
To specifically address the quote I posted earlier, it was in reference to this exact post
on Jim Wright's page (sorry i couldn't link to it form my phone earlier). This sounds exactly like Democracy got bought.
FH, what did the Tea Party control?
I keep seeing "Make American Great Again" and Trump calling for a "building back up of our military" and I'm honestly confused. Our economy is doing better than it was 8 years ago. Our military has never been reduced, our military spending is still ridiculously high, why does it need to be built more?
That old saying goes around and around in my head. "We have met the enemy and he is us." We seem to be heading toward to path that insists that we are at war with Muslims. A national registry? Have we not learned our lessons?
You Know Who, we do have some awesome members here - engage them with wit, logic, humor, and facts. Seek to understand so you can present a rational argument that will change minds, insults never make that happen.
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
The TEA Party moved the Republicans further to the right, and encouraged the "drill, baby, drill" campaign that created thousands of high paying jobs that revitalized the Midwest and money previously sent overseas stayed in America. President Obama was against this plan and liberal interests fought drilling on federal land. This strategy increased royalties to farmers and other land owners from the energy companies.

You are obsessed about redemption, what is it that needs to be redeemed? I think that you refer to definition #7. Could it be that their positions are in opposition to yours? Could it be that Trump won the election? Could it be that Trump and his transition team espouse a point of view that is not like yours? Could it be that Trump looks for experienced, knowledgeable individuals in their areas of expertise? Or is there some fault for which they must atone?
Please provide specifics so that this discussion can continue.
On the point of the topic, wasn't it great to see photos of Obama viewing the Acropolis.. Do you know what Trump was doing while Obama was playing tourist?

Is this guy trolling too? Talk about an inconsequential topic?
Wow, You Know Who pops up with an ad hominem statement. "
Argumentum ad hominem (argument directed at the person). This is the action of attacking the character or motives of a person who has stated an idea, rather than the idea itself."
Well, YKW, (You Know Who), i am not a troll, so please attempt to answer the questions posed. If you would like a hint please feel free to respond while we await Science Chick. By the way it evidently it is not inconsequential to you; you chose to respond.
To more serious matters, Trump is not a perfect person, no one has ever argued that. A discussion of his ACTUAL appointments rather than those suggested by the Media would yield a fruitful discussion. This topic, to iterate, brought up the fact that Trump is proceeding in his position as President-Elect with deliberate speed and is well ahead of previous Presidents in assembling his cabinet than any recent President -Elect. ( Had I the ability to attach photos the pictures of Obama taking selfies at the Acropolis in Athens, Greece are priceless. They can be easily found via an internet search.)
