Trump has spoken with Putin (Russia), Xi Jinping (China), Abe (Japan). Will meet with all in the near future. Obama is going on a European tour. It should be noted that Trump has spoken with May (Britain) , Holland (France), public statements indicate that he was well received by all. Perhaps Obama should play more golf.
On the domestic side:
The border officers are going to resist Obama's directive to allow more illegals into the country. If congress pursues an investigation of the Clinton foundation, that is a function of that branch of government. Similarly Roe V. Wade is settled law unless a SC judgement puts in back in the hands of the states.
Mr. Trump has reached out to Romney, Haley, and others that were outspoken in their opposition to him. He has been gracious to all. What is it that about Trump that offends the opposition? Portland OR has a bill in excess of $1 million for the destruction from the "non-violent" protestors of his election. I wonder how Denver would have reacted should these demonstrations happened in the "Queen of the Plains" city? PLEASE, some explain to me how smashing the window of a store and stealing the merchandise is in any way a protest against the decision of the voters?

You're not the smartest pencil in the box are you? If protests were all sunshine and flowers they wouldn't be a protests, would they?

"When people show you who they are believe them the first time." ~Maya Angelou
"Remember this because it will happen many times in your life. When people show you who they are the first time believe them. Not the 29th. time. When a man doesn't call you back the first time, when you are mistreated the first time, when someone shows you lack of integrity or dishonesty the first time, know that this will be followed many many other times, that will some point in life come back to haunt or hurt you. Live your life in truth. Don't pretend to be someone you're not. You will survive anything if you live your life from the point of view of truth." ~Oprah Winfrey
Trump has yet to show me anything redeeming throughout this entire year, and a whole lot of despicable morals. As Jim Wright and others have pointed out, he's responded like a child on Twitter (e.g. Pence/Hamilton) - how's he going to handle world leaders actively working to manipulate him? The number of reported hate crimes is up dramatically since the election, those he encouraged with hateful words have taken it as license to act in despicable ways and he hasn't done much to condemn that at all. Kids have even been harassed in elementary schools, getting called racist names. Kids. By other kids.
Can anyone share what's redeemable about those he's been choosing for his transition team, or floated as possible cabinet appointments? Do you honestly believe he's going to fix what's broken in Washington? If so, how?
VL, nice to see you again. Please remember this is the Courthouse where we discuss issues. If you want to call names, you are more than welcome to have at it in The Ring. Thanks!
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

Proven untrue this time... now watch how much Hillary and Bill get for their speeches... they won't be able to draw flies since there is no more influence to sell.
As for Trump, I'm going to do what I did with Obama and hope my first instincts were wrong. I was right about Obama but fortunately he spent so much time golfing and vacationing that he wasn't able to create the socialist hell hole he wanted. I think liberal arrogance made him think that all he had to do was start a movement and the people would gladly swallow it.
Great point Rick, the big money donors like Wall Street picked the wrong candidate. The big money GOP donors like the Koch brothers refused to donate to Trump. Trump won with tons of media appearances on CNN and Fox where he was often attacked by hosts like Megyn Kelly and Jake Tapper and small donors.
