Secretary of Defense Mark Esper warned that the removal of troops from Germany will cost billions of dollars and take years to complete. Men who don’t blink at dispatching US troops and hardware from the Midwest to Timbuktu suddenly worry about costs when it’s time to move our men and women in uniform in the opposite direction."
