You inferred you actually meant. Trump wasn't removed from office because of politics. His party supported him. Hence why I used the example of Nixon. He knew he didn't have the votes to survive impeachment so he resigned.koobookie wrote:

Are you really using the "don't change horse midstream" argument? If that were actually valid, then we should never change presidents, since - what - we need continuity?
My point, Fred, is that Trump was not exonerated, as you had implied in your post.

So while every other country in the world is opening schools, we have to force parents to stay home from work because our brilliant administrators and teachers can't figure it out. They are all getting paid to stay home so the incentive probably isn't very strong, understandably. Oh I know, it's all Trump's fault because even though he really isn't a king and doesn't have the power to do what a king does, he's supposed to figure out every problem in every school in this country. I swear this country would collapse in days if there was ever a real crisis, regardless of who is president.homeagain wrote:

If you look at metrics that actually mean something, like cases per million population and deaths per million populations, the US is pretty much right in the middle. Trump followed the advice from his CDC staff, including Fauci, and still is following that advice.
BTW, really HA?? You are going to cite the WHO?? After their provable lies that helped to cause massive spread of this virus? I'm sorry, but you just lost any shred of credibility.
