Trump knew the virus was dangerous

The president is on tape admitting in January that he knew the coronavirus was more dangerous than he publicly admitted, yet he downplayed it to America.

President Donald Trump admitted he knew weeks before the first confirmed US coronavirus death that the virus was dangerous, airborne, highly contagious and "more deadly than even your strenuous flus," and that he repeatedly played it down publicly, according to legendary journalist Bob Woodward in his new book "Rage."
"This is deadly stuff," Trump told Woodward on February 7.
In a series of interviews with Woodward, Trump revealed that he had a surprising level of detail about the threat of the virus earlier than previously known. "Pretty amazing," Trump told Woodward, adding that the coronavirus was maybe five times "more deadly" than the flu.

Trump's admissions are in stark contrast to his frequent public comments at the time insisting that the virus was "going to disappear" and "all work out fine."

Plus he was also able to start Israel and Arab states on a path to diplomatic and economic relations.

Senator Biden? He did create a crime bill in 1994 that targeted minorities, locking them up for a long time.

The President should have addressed the country with the information about the severity of the virus when he found out about it in February. The fact that he didn't shows he is unfit for the office.

If Trump had, as you say he should have, addressed the nation giving us details on a virus everyone was already panicking about, it would have been decried by the left as deflecting from impeachment. As it was, he did shut down travel from China but allowed US citizens back in. He also shut down travel from Europe later on and formed a task force, implemented a plan to build respirators, put operation warp speed into motion, provided governors any and everything they needed to house and treat patients. The advice at the time from Fauci and others was NOT to wear masks and we had one confirmed case in the US. Aren’t you guys a month early for October surprises?
