By the way how did that hashtag "bring back our girls" work out in Nigeria? Did those words do anything? Answer, the only result was a lot of babies born to these girls, fathered by the Boko Haram. But I am sure you got a warm and fuzzy feeling from those words.

Nice deflection there.

430,000 people continued to fly in from China after Donald "shut it down." Yes, I guess actions do speak louder than words.

Speaking of actions, did you read today that Donald knew that the virus was more serious than he admitted to the American public? That lack of action resulted in the deaths of American lives. Once again, actions do speak louder than words!

Have you heard? Bob Woodward—pause for reverential ooohs and aaahs here—has a new book out, with the claim that Trump lied about COVID-19 when it first erupted way back in early February. “Trump admits he lied about COVID-19 threat in new Woodward book,” says the Puffington Host headline.

But what did he actually say according to the story?

“You just breathe the air and that’s how it’s passed,” Trump said in a Feb. 7 call with Woodward. “And so that’s a very tricky one. That’s a very delicate one. It’s also more deadly than even your strenuous flu. This is deadly stuff,” he repeated.

“I wanted to always play it down,” Trump told Woodward on March 19, according to a copy of the book obtained by CNN. “I still like playing it down, because I don’t want to create a panic.”

Normally “avoiding a public panic” would be a reason for praise, but people afflicted with Trump Derangement Syndrome can’t help themselves.

But I want to take a moment to say it’s not a time to panic about coronavirus, but coronavirus is a serious public health challenge.” Feb 28, 2020

Who said the above?

For whatever reason, you left out the word "enhanced" as in "enhanced screening"
Largely because,
"More recently, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the top U.S. infectious disease expert, also said that temperature checks are an unreliable method of detecting COVID-19."

Currently, travelers upon arrival to the United States are sent to health screeners who take their temperatures and conduct a basic health screening with questions about typical COVID-19 symptoms. After the health screening, passengers proceed through passport control and customs.

One aspect of the screening is that travelers provide contact information, which can be used to perform contact tracing for infections. Without that information, it likely won’t be possible to contact passengers on a flight who may have potentially been exposed to someone infected with COVID-19.

The orders to cease prescreening operations came from the White House, with strict orders to keep the information secret until a public announcement is made. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, the various agencies — and contractors — involved in the airport screening operations are working frantically to prepare for Monday’s shutdown.

You were willing to strand Americans overseas? Wow. Heartless. One of my classmates was a reporter in Hong Kong. Luckily he was able to fly home with his Chinese wife and children. Abandoning Americans overseas during a global pandemic is heartless.

And despite allowing people from Hong Kong in, it appears most of the Covid strains that infected Americans actually came from Europe. But once again, do you not let Americans return home? My niece was spending a semester abroad in Rome, luckily she was allowed to fly home.

I did not say that, Fred. Please stop putting words in my mouth.

Do you not remember the hordes of Americans coming back from overseas, from China, and how they were all crammed together in airports waiting for customs? Why didn't Trump put in place a way to isolate and quarantine those people? Trump knew how dangerous the virus was, how easily it was spread through the air. Why didn't he do more?
