If those medical professionals actually did nothing, then they should be held accountable. Will you say the same for Trump? He KNEW how deadly the virus was, how it was transmitted, how quickly it was going to spread, yet sat on his hands for a month telling Americans "It will just go away" and "It's a Democratic hoax."
He downplayed it, telling us it was nothing, that they were doing a fantastic job, that it was being handled. So what did Americans do? We took it easy until March, when the seriousness of the virus became apparent.

So did Democrats. Leaders in the House and Senate were briefed. Some even used the opportunity to make money off selling stocks.
I can understand that President Trump didn't want the nation to panic. Remember March? The nation did panic. Toilet paper was impossible to find. Imagine what would have happened if the whole country would have gone into prepper mode?
And for those Dems who say now that Trump should have shut down the nation, there are quotes from Democrat politicians in February and March saying they will not let the president shut down the economy.
Even now, Americans are still fighting quarantine protocols.

Yet, in the end, it is Trump who is supposed to be leading the country, protecting the citizens. He knew. It is his responsibility.
Panic? That is Trump's middle name. He invokes drama and panic on a daily basis. It is his M.O. And what of the other countries whose leaders were honest with their citizens? Did they instill panic when told the truth about the virus? No. What's more likely is that Trump didn't want to invoke panic in the stock market. With Trump, it's all about money and not losing.
Why are we fighting protocols? Because our leader has instilled fear and uncertainty in the public. Trump is unfit for the office.
