Trump knew the virus was dangerous

Huh... weird. So you look to Trump as the country’s leader kinda like a king... I look to him as the chief executive to formulate and execute foreign policy. I expect him to assign people to deal with issues such as this virus. He did all that. He downplayed a virus which he knew to be bad (actually he was told it was much worse than it actually is) but at the time he was downplaying it we had only one confirmed case not to mention an ongoing impeachment trial. You know full well that you would have been leading the chorus if he had come out and told the American people how bad the virus is. “He just distracting from impeachment!!! He must be guilty!!!”

Nah, he's not a king. I'm certain he wishes he was, but he's not. I expect more from a president than delegating off national policy. He is supposed to be the one we turn to in times of crisis, like FDR, W, etc. Instead, we get a whiny man that tells us he accepts no responsibility for this situation. He lies to us about how serious the virus is, causing thousands of people to not take it serious. Surely you can see that?

Oh, and implying that he was preoccupied with the impeachment and couldn't concentrate on the pandemic just let's everyone know that Trump is not up to the job.

To be honest, I wish he had come out and told us how bad it was, like the leaders of other nations. I would not have led the chorus against him. I would have said "Self, maybe this guy is up to the job. Maybe he knows what he's doing." But it's obvious he doesn't have a clue.

couple of things here...FIRST he was manipulating/controlling info about the virus,Dr.F. WOULD NOT LET
HIM OVER RULE SCIENCE(he called it everytime. in a politically sagacious way)

SECOND the king was given advanced warning this would be a scenario he would have to confront...in a handbook presented to him at his entrance into the POTUS. HE HAD EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO SHOOT STRAIGHT with the nation.INSTEAD,he elected to deceive and delete the TRUTH, until it
could no longer be denied. It's called CYA......coward that he is, he would NEVER admit he misjudged,
made a macro mistake, or was WRONG in his actions.....IF U R going to make statements like the bolded
EXPECT to be called on it.

Do you seriously think that EVERY president hasn't controlled the flow of information? Do you believe the CDC exists in a vacuum? It is part of the executive branch. Coordinating a flow of information is essential in an emergency. You can't have every middle manager sending out their own version.

THERE LIES THE PROBLEM....co-ordination vs revision/re writing the narrative....and I KNOW that
POTUS PRIVILEGE IS TO WITHHOLD to the public, the entire population would wig out if they KNEW
how close to war, conflict we have been....in the past and probably as we speak.

You ca say that again. The left tried to rewrite 3 months of rioting, arson and looting into the summer of love. When that did not work it all became Trump's fault.
