It does. After nine months of putting lives first, they are doing a complete 180 here. Maybe they have looked at the other downsides of a clampdown and decided they were too extreme, like record high drug overdoses and increased suicides.

Hahaha! Good one! They knew back in April of last year that lockdowns don’t work. Masks don’t work. It’s a cold. They locked down so they could kill the Trump economy before the election and even then had the resort to fraud to win it!

AS DID MANY R STATES......which is what "herd immunity" is called....(and THAT was what TRUMP
was striving for)

Are you going to trust in herd immunity? If you honestly believe that President Trump wanted herd immunity, why do you think he launched Operation Warp Speed? His program is innoculating hundreds of thousands per day. Was that just a diversion in your eyes? Personally I am glad he did speed the virus program. My father has already had one dose, my SIL has had both. The side effects were much less than my brother contracting the virus and developing pancreatitis.
