This is where the rubber meets the road.

The Trump administration had reached an agreement with the Taliban that all U.S. troops will be out of Afghanistan by May 1, 2021.
Will Hiden honor the agreement?

President Biden will not and I don't have a problem with this. 3000 troops in Afghanistan in a nice strike force to hit on the Taliban, ISIS, or Al Qaida if they are planning any funny business in the region.

And we need that because?
