[Ginsburg firmly supported abortion, but she lamented the court's decision to unilaterally create a new 'regime' on the subject

from the female judge who was forward thinking and forth right.

Looks like abortion rights activists will have to go to "Plan B". B)

Alito's opinion effectively reverses what Ginsburg described as fashioning a new "regime" on abortion – a move that would be unnecessary had the court instead proceeded to work with state legislatures and Congress to hammer out compromises on abortion.

In other words....forward thinking and NOT reactive......a thoughtful train of rationale instead of half assed.

LOL. Pro-abortion activists rioted in Los Angeles this week. Don't they understand that California will never ban abortion?
And all it will take to bring back Roe V. Wade is President Biden reelected.

Alito is promoting Democracy and self governance, the opposite of tyranny. You have a problem with that?

None of what you say is true. Alito is simply giving the dispute to the people to decide, as it should be in any working democracy. You act as if all women feel the same way you do, and that is just not true. The right to kill unborn humans should have never been left to 9 people to decide, it should have been given to ALL Americans to decide.

If you have an argument that could convince me otherwise, I'd be happy to listen. If your argument completely ignores the process in which these big moral desisions should be decided, then I will just ignore your deflection and move on.

As it happens, there is also nothing at all in that document, which sets out fundamental law, about pregnancy, uteruses, vaginas, fetuses, placentas, menstrual blood, breasts, or breast milk. There is nothing in that document about women at all. Most consequentially, there is nothing in that document—or in the circumstances under which it was written—that suggests its authors imagined women as part of the political community embraced by the phrase “We the People.”

FEMALES WERE NOT A CONSIDERING FACTOR.....AGAIN THE MALE DOMINANCE PREVAILS.

This decision just let's states decide how they want to legislate their abortions. This might just inspire more feminists to run for office in Red States, and pro-abortion campaign donations to support their campaigns.
