As votes continue to come in, depending on the margin, it is possible there could be a recount in the race, in western Colorado. In an email on Friday, Annie Orloff, a spokeswoman for the secretary of state in Colorado, said the regular process has to play itself out, however, before a recount could be considered.

First, Colorado gives voters until Nov. 16, in what is known as the cure period, to fix errors or signature discrepancies that could result in their ballot being rejected. That deadline is the same for overseas voters and members of the military to return ballots.

It is NOT a simple scenario....gun toting twin of Palin will have to WAIT for word of win.....poss. till mid Dec.....OH MY, I love a good suspense story.

It is a simple scenario. It is a close election and there will be a recount. Why is that so difficult to understand.

Expect a recount, the House majority is that important.

APPARENTLY BOEBART,does not understand....

republican U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert blames her much-closer-than-expected race with Democrat Adam Frisch, a former Aspen city councilman, on turnout levels and a lack of enthusiasm for the GOP’s Colorado candidates for U.S. Senate and governor.

It is called "spin". All politicians do it. President Trump refuses to take the blame for endorsing far right radicals that have no chance to be elected in moderate states.

What’s your definition of a “radical” Republican? Would that be someone who is diametrically opposed to everything the Democrats have planned for this country (aka a wise person) or is questioning the integrity of an election all that’s needed to be a radical?

It was always the women, and above all the young ones, who were the most bigoted adherents of the Party, the swallowers of slogans, the amateur spies and nosers−out of unorthodoxy

Boebert has been one of the loudest Republican voices amplifying former President Trump's baseless claims of widespread election fraud, as well as supporting QAnon conspiracy theories. On Election Day, she was one of many Republicans predicting a "red wave" of GOP wins. But late on election night, Boebert prayed with her supporters and said she's hoping to get a boost from in-person voting.

Frisch, viewed as a centrist, previously served on the Aspen City Council. Faced with an opponent with strong name recognition and a penchant for outlandish remarks, Frisch built "a coalition of normal," Colorado Democratic Party Chair Morgan Carroll tells member station Colorado Public Radio.

"He has specifically courted all normal Republicans" in the district, courted independent voters and shored up his base, Carroll said.

Early in her congressional tenure, Boebert drew criticism for insisting she would carry a gun in the Capitol, even after the building came under violent attack. This summer, Boebert's stance on a central U.S. tenet was called into question after she stated, "I am tired of this separation of church and state junk."

THIS IS A RADICAL.......separation of church and state is 'JUNK'.....WTF

Separation of church and state? Georgia Democrats are voting for a Christian minister to the US Senate!

Doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

"Frisch, viewed as a centrist,..." I guess what passes for centrist in Aspen is a city councilman having intercourse in a storage locker and then being blackmailed into changing his vote on a multi million $ project, so as to benefit the blackmailer.
