You specifically mentioned Texas HA, here's what the Supreme Court in Texas said about the elective homicide laws in that State . . .

“A physician who tells a patient, ‘Your life is threatened by a complication that has arisen during your pregnancy, and you may die, or there is a serious risk you will suffer substantial physical impairment unless an abortion is performed,’ and in the same breath states ‘but the law won’t allow me to provide an abortion in these circumstances’ is simply wrong in that legal assessment,” the court wrote.

The laws in place allow for addressing complications that arise in a pregnancy, in all 50 States. The evidence based standard of care that applies to all 50 States protects physicians in all 50 States for the medical care they provide to a woman who experiences complications during her pregnancy. Worry, belief, propaganda are not a fact based examination of the laws HA.

If a doctor isn't prepared to follow the standard of care proscribed for the treatment of their patients, they ought not to have a license to practice medicine. "Good faith" is not "evidence based" care, it is subjective based care. Doctors lose malpractice cases all the time when their only defense is that they acted in "good faith" contrary to the evidence based standards of care for their patients.

There is absolutely no reason an Ob/Gyn, or even a family physician, should be unaware of the standard of care they are required to provide to a pregnant woman, none at all. They should know, without question, what the standard of care requires them to do when a woman's water breaks at 13 weeks gestation, or an infection is detected in the amniotic fluid. They should know what the options are, they should know what treatments comply with the standard of care. As long as they follow that standard of care they are providing evidence based care to their patient and they should have no fear of any legal repercussions for following that standard of care in any court, in any State, regardless of whether the consent of the governed in that State limits abortions after 6 weeks or places absolutely no limitations on access to an elective homicide at any point during the pregnancy. That is simply the truth of the matter HA, without all the fear mongering propaganda attached to any changes to the law in any State after the Dobbs decision.

The Press and Democrats are killing American women by spreading lies to win elections.
These women are told they will be arrested if they have a miscarriage in a Red State so they don't seek the proper care after their fetus dies.
Sepis often kills them.

No, those who believed the fear mongering propaganda are the ones who’ve consumed the Kool-Aid HA. The words provided are the ruling of the Supreme Court of Texas. Now, if you choose to believe the propaganda instead of the court decision, that’s on you and your inability to reach a reasoned answer to the question.

If the collectivists would stop practicing Identity Politics for political profit and report on reality as it exists instead, the reality on the ground would be much different than it is. That women are needlessly dying and suffering permanent injury is the responsibility of those spreading propaganda to instill fear for their own political profit . . . full stop.

There’s no ambiguity at all in that decision from the Supreme Court of Texas, HA, none at all. Thus, no reason for a doctor providing care to delay any treatment that corresponds with the reasoned standards of care that apply in all 50 States.

There’s no reason for a woman to delay seeking care either. If she seeks an abortion in violation of the law, let’s say having an out of state doctor, who can’t provide follow up care, can’t examine her properly, proscribe chemical elective homicide substances and experiences complications because, surprise, surprise, incomplete evacuation is an expected side effect of such substances during the 2nd trimester, that’s not on the law, that’s on her. She’s the one who decided to risk her health by seeking a chemical elective homicide in her 2nd trimester from an out of state source who was unable to examine her, unable to provide follow up care, and she’s the one who delayed seeking care afterwards.

And, let us not forget, she also made the decision to engage in behavior with a known risk of pregnancy without mitigating her risk when every health insurance policy, including subsidized plans offered through every State government and Medicaid, and let us not forget Planned Parenthood who provide care using funds from the US Treasury, provide that risk mitigation at no cost to her.

No, HA, the increase in suffering is directly the result of the propaganda disseminated for political profit after Dobbs. If the entities responsible for fear mongering propaganda had instead distributed the same truth that the Supreme Court of Texas did, if they decided to amplify that message instead of their propaganda, the suffering you are so outraged about would be far, far less than it is now.

Ah, but commie leftist judges are fine.

A fact is information without emotion.
An opinion is information shaped by experience.
Ignorance is an opinion without knowledge.
Stupidity is an opinion that rejects facts.
