What kind of stupid ignorant jackass would start a thread like this while people's homes are burning and families are losing everything? I know it shouldn't surprise me considering the source but it never ceases to amaze me how low you will go just to try and get attention. Really pathetic..........

I was serious...Theres not even one thread posted about these huge fires but when we had one it was 911 part 2..Just pointing out how self centered we all are
Granted, the 'discussion' topic in The Campfire only has 3 posts but the post in the Scanner forum is up to 6 pages now so I guess that's not even one thread.
Is the "Courthouse" the forum for the fire topic? I've been on the phone with family and friends all day monitoring the fire. I've also been watching news feeds to keep up-to-date. As soon as there's a fundraiser set up to donate to the families who lost their homes I'll be sending a check...how is that selfish???
The Longmont & Boulder Animal Shelters have a few needs too - blankets, toys and cash for the animals homeowners have to leave temporarily:

I'm sure they have home insurance and if they don't what's 500, 1000 or even $5000 going to do for them? It's like when a guy at works wife would die or something somebody would buy a card, everyone would put a few bucks in it and they'd give it to him. Sorrry your wife died, here's a card with $87.25 in it..
