I'm sure they have home insurance and if they don't what's 500, 1000 or even $5000 going to do for them? It's like when a guy at works wife would die or something somebody would buy a card, everyone would put a few bucks in it and they'd give it to him. Sorrry your wife died, here's a card with $87.25 in it..[/quote]
Well, I remember a few years ago in Jamestown, near this current fire, where at least a dozen homes burned which were actually illegally built "in the sticks" without permits, no real estate taxes, etc :yikes: . There were even tree houses with some strange folks living in them ( purple felt hatted forest people - pinecam rejects :bump: ). These houses never got rebuilt because they had no fuego insurance... :loser:

I didn't see that, thats good, but are you people even aware that Pakistan is suffering from the worst flooding catastrophe in the nation's history? My point was that if it ain't happening to us, we really don't care

Did you notice how I graciously included myself in the selfishness? I'll admit it, i'm not losing much sleep over these fires. I know bad things are happening in Boulder but bad things are happening somewhere in the world every minute of every day, and not to go all political but we are behind a lot of those bad things... like torture and oppression.

The $$ would help the Red Cross with immediate needs i.e. blankents, food, shelter and help the animal shelters feed and shelter :dog: , :Kitty: , :horse: , etc. until the homeowners can get them back...that's what a few bucks will do for them!

Our tax dollars should create a saftey net for people facing catastrophes like these...Instead it's all going to save oil pipelines in the mid east. Corporate walfare

NO, we should take care of it ourselves, and quit relying on the government to fulfil our every need!

And, belatedly I admit, we should quit responding to this BS from VL!

Like the true troll he is, he knows this will get attention
