Let's see... We have scumbags in office, and other scumbags wanting to occupy those offices. We get to vote on the least scummiest of the scumbags.

In the end, we're stuck with yet another scumbag.

Where would there be any gain for us if we couldn't gloat about OUR scumbag being in office before he shows his true colors and screws us over?

well said renegade

once the election is done, our work has only just begun. we must not walk away and think everything is ok. we must be vigilant and continue to pay attention to the process. our children and grandchildren's futures are in our hands.

Well, to answer your question - first we're going to celebrate the coming gridlock - so to start out with NO - we won't be Gracious.

But then - we will be Gracious.

I for one plan to be Gracious by offering the progressives several workshops aimed at boosting the spirits of all the liberals on this site. I intend to have several socialist minds contribute to the information to be made available. We will also have the best conservative minds contribute as well.

Workshop #1 -
"Coping with loss, rehabilitating the progressive mind" will be written and presented by myself and will include information on how to think like a "real" American. Among the information available will be resources on how to get more help on free market economics, reducing regulation and my special presentation - "How to get a Job".

Workshop #2 -
"Cutting the dead weight"
Will be presented by Raul Castro - a stunning look at how Communist Cuba ia slashing a million government jobs by May, 2011. Among his topics will be "how to become self-employed".

Workshop #3 -
"How to grow a country by 10% per year"
Chinese President Hu Jintao will explain how no minimum wage and less government regulations changed his country from a bunch a no-account commie rice farmers into the most powerful free market industrial producers of modern times. Hu has done all this in just 25 years.

Workshop #4 -
"From looter to producer"
A special essay by Ayn Rand

And Workshop #5 -
"Something for the Kids"
Bedtime stories by Ronald Reagan -
In fact - progressives should get started now in their rehabilitatation - I'll post a few of the bedtime stories now....

Not asking for mercy, just wondering if you'll be a human.

Not likely. They were sore losers, I expect they will be sore winners. Its in the conservative DNA to whine and carry on even when they win.

They will gloat, no question .I do admit I gloated a little after McCain lost and in 08 when Bush lost Congress. Turn about is fair play.

I'd like you to pull the quotes from "PC" that show conservatives as sore loser. I don't remember that. We were just as disgusted with the reps as you were....

Were we depressed...yeah, but that is not the same as being a "sore loser". We were depressed because the state of the reps, and the direction of the country was at an all time low, then came an unchecked democrat majority, which then brout about... the Tea Party!!!!!

Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!

Leave it up to a liberal to explore the possibility of being a victim before they even are one. :rofl That is entertainment.
