Why Unhappy People Become Liberals

I applaud too. Conservatives are happier because they know they don't need wealth distribution and government to make their lives full and happy.

They are unhappy that the world is unfair. We should all be equal for goodness sake. Why should that other guy make more money just because he works harder than me. He should not be able to keep that money - it belongs to the government.

Actually - all the liberals should be happy that the world is unfair, because if it were, most of those lefty trust funders would have to work for a living. The rest of the world does not live in a politically correct utopia. All those pretty liberal girls - be glad the world is not fair, the world will treat you better than the rest. Be happy you live here where women have greater freedom than the average world standard.

I think most conservatives learned the lesson early on - the world is not fair. Nature is not fair - the average human condition is not fair, and life is not fair.

That is, if you look at it from the American higher standard. And this is why the American liberal is unhappy - they have not accepted reality.
