How have I mocked the Bible? I think I've been honest in quoting it, verbatim and in context, in that other thread. It's others who seem to be mocking it by trying to spin their differing interpretation, instead of admitting what it very clearly says to do.

The reason I taught her to seek refuge in a church is for safety and solitude. You'd have figured that out if you'd read my post a little more carefully.
I kind of thing that is why most of us seek refuge in a church or God, or religion in general. It gives us a sense of safety and comfort, peace of mind and spirit.
