Happy Robert E Lee Day

I really respect that Lee surrendered his army realizing their cause was lost instead of dispersing them and starting a guerilla campaign. I think this decision and Lincoln's choice of "malice to none and charity to all" helped the nation heal a lot quicker.

BTW, this year is the 150th anniversary of the start of the Civil War.

Uhhh. I believe that Robert E Lee's birthday is the 19th of January.

I think the holiday is celebrated on this Monday in some Southern states.
