What happened to the problem of illegal aliens?

1. that immigration, illegal or not, related crime is at a low and has been for some time.
2. Most of the people bitching about illegal aliens likely have a relative or ancestor who came here illegally and therefor are Hippocrates (just about the worse kind of human, even worse than people who illegally cross borders).

I don't think it has to do with people around here hating less, we know that is not true. Someone has to be blamed for what we don't like about ourselves or our accomplishments, someone has to be beaten down or how will we rise to the top again.

Seems like people around here suffer from the same thing that radical muslims do...if they hear news from another culture, they freak out and want to kill people. So those who want to kill and box up other people are all in the same stupid group to me. Billybob with a gun in America or Mohomed in Afghanistan with the same gun, or Miguel in Mexico with the same gun, wanting to kill for the same exact reason....ignorance and hate.

Hating is just too much fun to give up, we just redirect it over and over.

Don't forget to protect and freak out about unborn babies so that you can save you killing quota for adults.

What the hell are you rambling on about? Nobody wants to beat down or kill illegals. The problem is illegals not other cultures. Illegal immigration may be down in part because of the economy but it’s plain to see it’s still happening. Illegals by definition are criminals
Do you have a valid source for

“Most of the people bitching about illegal aliens likely have a relative or ancestor who came here illegally”?

Or is this just something you like to believe? I don’t know of any of my ancestors who arrived here illegally, I have some who arrived before there was a United States and some who arrived prior to WWII via Elis Island.
While you did get in the buzzword hater, you forgot to call anyone who in against illegal immigration a racist. Get with the program. :bash

a reminder

1 Year Later, Robert Krentz’s Murder is Still Unsolved
Slaying of border rancher still a mystery 1 year later

Authorities have identified ‘person of interest’ but haven’t found him even with Mexico’s help

The murder of a prominent Cochise County rancher that triggered a nationwide outcry about border security remains unsolved a year later.

Investigators have identified a man who fits the description of the possible killer – a tall, cross-border smuggler with a violent criminal record. But they don’t know for sure if he’s in the U.S. or Mexico – or if he’s dead or alive.

Just one of many links

I want you to show some proof of your statement above about immigration crimes are down. Could have fooled me, turn the news on and listen to the news. All I hear is another crime and then you hear that that the individual is a possible illegal. Now and then you hear about a crime that was committed and the individual is here legally. But that is down, not those committed by illegals. I could be wrong, but I want to see some numbers.

Arizona's Illegal Alien Population Declined After Passing Mandatory E-Verify Law
A new report from the Public Policy Institute of California indicates that Arizona's illegal aliens population declined after the state passed the Legal Arizona Workers Act in 2007 that required all businesses to use E-Verify.

According to PPIC's research, Arizona's illegal alien population fell 17% or by 92,000 from 2008 to 2009. Arizona is one of three states that requires all its employers to use E-Verify. Mississippi and South Carolina also require all companies to check new hires with the workplace verification tool.

If you make it tough on Illegals they move on.....

Exactly....tough state laws do nothing but move the problem on to another state, This has to be addressed nationwide.....so tell me again.....what plans do the Republicans and the Tea Party in the House have for tackling the illegal problem? Do they have a plan? do they care? or will they just kick it on down the road till they lose the house and can blame Democrats again. Neither party seems willing to stick their neck out and actually propose something.....so much for the changes promised by tea partiers and Republicans this last election. Once again it's business as usual....make a lot of promises, get elected, be unwilling to tackle the tough/unpopular issues.

What were the tough state laws that brought them to America? Tough federal law should have kept them out the US!

good question RT, just exactly what have the Republicans done over the last several decades to address this problem at the national level?

Wow, the revisionist history...now the Republicans have been in charge for several decades...wow, I didn't know that.

Nice try...I didn't say they had been in charge for decades
..I simply asked what they had done....apparently the answer is nothing.
