In case anyone's interested, at this Friday's Conifer Chamber of Commerce membership meeting at 7:15a at Brooks Place the speakers are County Commissioner Don Rosier and Elk Creek Fire Chief Bill McLaughlin.

So now I have to wonder if most of the money will be spent trying to prove their losses and if they will come out any better? Time will tell.

Not surprised. There is always so much to do after a fire. This should have been a priority. It has made a difference with the family who staked burnt logs across their steep property. They were lucky not to see rain right away.
