Only 6 tickets? If you listen to the scanner there have been a whole lot more than that. Guess if you are a buddy of the sheriff you don't get a ticket?

Oh wait, I forgot the just 'barely illegal' part. How stupid is this. Either it is legal or it is illegal. Only Park County Sheriff dept would be this stupid. Come on Sheriff, how about some uniformity and enforce the bans. Thanks.

Ummm to answer my own question, lots of call ins for shots fired but not a lot of revenue. The most recent one checked by deputy got a warning. "And we mean it".

What was the point of Wegener going on the news saying that they will issue tickets and they mean it, when most are getting warnings and very few tickets issued. You only get one if they decide they don't like you? Where's the uniformity. No wonder so many people are pissed at the Sheriff.
Do you really think people are going to abide by the ban just because they have received a warning? Do we have to go up in smoke before 'we mean it'?
