I took a run up Bailey Mtn today and could here someone shooting below. Couldn't tell if it was on private property or national forest.

I heard hissing the other day on the way up Bailey Mountain so probably protecting a kill. Not sure I would be running in the area.

Well if PCSO doesn't have an excuse for everything I don't know who does. seems that Monte claims that the PCSO should be COMMENDED for their handling of the "It's just barely illegal" fire, BECAUSE THEY (pcso) ARE SOOOO VERY BUSY....

Also read the Flume article on ATV's illegally on the roads.
PCSO wouldn't be so busy with so many calls if they would just enforce the laws on the books and issue tickets. People get the message when it hits them in the pocketbook enough times. That goes for illegal campfires, shooting, etc. when there is a ban.
PCSO lack of enforcement just teaches everyone that the laws mean nothing and that anyone can do whatever they want. Time to dump the poor leadership.

Akilina if you don't mind I would like to use some of your wording in a letter to the Sheriff and The Flume or maybe just The Flume.
Such a shame that it can't just be directed to the Sheriff's dept. as they only bury it. Unless you point out their stupidity for everyone to see, they don't pay attention.
Wegener and Gore stop wasting our money and deputies time, enforce the laws and watch the problems become minimal.
