They are nothing but arrogant poachers. Poachers who appear to feel that DOW laws and rules don’t apply to them because they carry a badge. I’ll bet a dollar, that as they dig into the background of these two this wasn't their first illegal shenanigans.

Jeez, let it go.... they were wrong but seriously get a grip people. I don't know maybe this will be effective because knowing that these people would obsess about it might keep them from being stupid.

A group of Boulder residents is organizing a "silent" walk on the Pearl Street Mall on Sunday to honor the elk shot in the Mapleton Hill neighborhood on New Year's Day.

The announcement on the Facebook page said participants will be silent during the walk except for the playing of a recording of an elk bugle from their phones.

I would rather watch the FG kick to win the game last night 100 times.

This means nothing to the elk they are hunted all the time. It is sad but an elk is not a person. They do not have the reasoning to have emotion about all this. Okay, off my soapbox.

Seriously, if they eat meat then they need to have a silent walk with chicken sound too.

I think people Boulder should be free to peaceably assemble, if they so desire. Just because some don't agree with what they are doing, doesn't make it wrong.

Personally, I think it's more about wanting to keep pressure on the police chief to fire the cop than it is about the elk, but I could be wrong.

I just said I think it is stupid and I would rather have my gums scraped. The Elk does not know the difference. I think everyone thinks killing the Elk was wrong. Memorials are just stupid. My Opinion. I am telling you only in Boulder.

Knock yourselves out with your fake cell phone bugling. Sounds fun. LOL
