Pinecam, in it's early days, was amazing. All my friends were envious that we had such a wonderful resource. That it spawned so many children is a tribute to Wayne's vision. Thank you, Wayne!
Agreed, congrats to Wayne and the original Pinecam forum. Learned alot about the area and local news from that site back in the "good ol days" when it was a fun friendly place.

And if this 285/MyMountainTown thing doesn't get resolved, I do own EvergreenNews.com, ConiferNews.com and BaileyNews.com and am interested in selling the domain names (cheap). I've held them for years, thinking they might become useful to a someone interested in starting a local news website.
I'm blowing this pop stand in a few years and don't really want to keep them. (That means I'll be leaving the area when I retire.)
And yes, Pinecam in the early days was a lot of fun. I couldn't have done it without a lot of help.

I travel the world, and we don't do organized tours, or go to traditional tourist traps. We get to know the people and completely emmerse ourselves in the cultures- and one recurring complaint I hear about Americans is our over use of words..Words like amazing, incredible, remarkable, and now "Genius". If everything is amazing, incredible, remarkable then nothing is- I'm often times called a "genius" and its just absurd. Albert Eienstien was a genius, me and Wayne are basically losers. Pinecam is a tiny obscure, slowly dying message board that started at about the same time as Google and Yahoo did, and i'm not even going to call those guys genius's. And furthermore, locally, the word Pinecam has literally became synonomous with: "The worst message board on earth". It it used everyday as the worst thing you can say about a message board and new message boards are created with a foundation declaring that they are not anything like PineCam...
