Don't be ridiculous, this is The Day of Technology, we are gonna rewrite that contract, and nobody will ever detect that we replaced the signatures from the real thing. Sheesh! some people have no imagination.
I don't think the 285Bound site has much value without Sharon so as I told her before, her bargaining chip is in her community-entrenched personal relationships and demonstrated ability to successfully manage the site. Having just visited the Evergreen site, I was impressed!! by its activity and also, by the fact that it's of benefit to both businesses that they stay linked together in some manner. So I think SC should just take the old name back and use her upgraded server to accomplish whatever didn't work for her before.
As a business owner, I would regret having to place ads in two publications anyway in order to cover my marketing area, and if I didn't at least get a discount would be very discouraged. At the same time, covering Morrison diagonally through the front range into Genesee -- and the other way, Kittredge into Fairplay -- way too big for a single site imho. As it is, I'm seeing the "focus" in the near-Denver area, if anything interesting is going on in Hartsel I sure don't know about it (caveat: there's usually not).

SC this is a question for you. I would give some background information but then it would indicate who it was from. And I would do this privately but it really affects more than me.
I am only including the most pertinent part from a person who is a staunch supporter of you and believes s/he knows who users on this site are. "People forget that Sharon and myself are friends and she is capable of giving me certain heads up without breaching the privacy to My Mountain Town users."
Is that true SC? Are you giving people a heads up as to who people might be? Are you sharing with your husband or your close confidant frogger who keeps talking about being privy to everything that is going on? Is that why she has been so abysmally bad to deal with because she thinks I am someone she may know, she is mistaken, and doesn't like? I have not always understood her meanness. And how does this not breach the privacy of MyMountainTown users?
Ridgeway, there really isn't anything resembling privacy on the net. Everything you do is recorded and traced. I'm not in the least worried about frogger knowing who I am as she already does.
Same here, I make no attempt to hide my identity -- and don't post anything that's inconsistent with who I am generally, anyway.
When working, I do way less kidding around! but overall I think we should "be who we are," for better or for worse. lol

Meanness? She calls it like she sees it, the same as you and the rest of us do, It is called opinion, and each of us has our own.
As far as privacy is concerned, as others have said, it doesn't exist on the Internet. If you are interested in hiding who you are, stay off the Internet. Regardless of how many times someone changes their nick, their posting style and general approach quickly identify who they are.
IMO, it is ridiculous to expect a website owner to protect the 'privacy' that you yourself expose every time you post something on the Internet.
