I would expect most everyone will converge towards .500 as time goes on, that is the nature of this. A random selection should get you 50/50 win/loss.

The one difference is the opening spreads seem to be larger and that could give someone an edge if they use it correctly.

I found this site, it shows charts of how the spread changes with public betting. And lots of other info.

No it was Dallas -5.5 which means that they were favored by 5 1/2 points. So they had to win by 6 in order for you to win. Anything 5 or less and Washington covered and who ever picked them got the win. And Dallas only won by 2. Sorry.
