Like we will ever again take seriously someone who so vehemently argued that John Quincy Adams was a founding father.

Interesting chart... Particularly the part of the graph between about 2000 and 2008...with the highest-EVER price on record of $4.27 average in 7/7/2008... Help me out here... Who was president from 2000 to 2008? Oh, yeah, I see it going back up, but that sure was a helluva climb, wasn't it?

Just cause I saw this bumper sticker and I think Liberals that support dipsh*t Obama are nothing but blind jackasses:

The good news that the people that are supporting Obama on this forum are the leftist fringe and by no means represent most Americans. They are entertaining though:)

Is this all regressives know how to do? Intentionally distort what was said into something that wasn't? My arguments were that was room for a more liberal inclusion based upon his lifetime of service to a young nation if demagoguery wasn't the primary intent of excluding JQA from the ranks. I find it interesting that regressives are all for a more liberal interpretation of the Constitution and so adamantly against a more liberal interpretation of the ranks of the founding fathers. Quite interesting really, and quite transparent as well I might add.

It is indeed, but I was not the one who conclusively stated that there had not been any inflation occurring over the last 2 years - that was you my friend. I simply pointed out the flaw in your partisan reasoning. I never said that there was no inflation during the Bush administration, nor did anyone else that I recall. I don't even recall anyone saying that the price of fuel was higher under this administration than it ever had been in the past. I do recall you saying that there hadn't been any inflation during the last 2 years and I am glad to see that you are willing to admit that you were in error in saying that given that the cost of gasoline in Colorado is over 32% higher right now than it was at this time a year ago and nearly 95% higher than it was the day Obama was sworn in as president of these united states.

I just heard on the radio that Boehner is likening the talks about this debt ceiling as being in a foxhole.

Boehner has never been in a foxhole and only spent 8 weeks in the Navy, then was medically discharged for a bad back.

He really has NO clue what it is like to be in a foxhole with bullets whizzing by, and grenades and other explosives going off all around you, and having to be in that hole with a buddy with little food or water. Maybe your buddy dies next to you and you have to stay there for several days. You can't get out to relieve yourself and if there is a break and you are able to go away to take care of your business, there certainly is no porcelain throne to use or even a Port-A-Potty. You are wearing the same clothes, including a flak jacket and helmet for days on end. And you have to share watch duties with your buddy...which means you aren't getting a whole lot of sleep.

It really pisses me off that this guy who wears a suit to work every day, sleeps in a bed, uses a modern bathroom complete with toilet and shower every day, eats at least 3 square hot meals a day, and has access to the most modern of amenities is comparing what he is doing to what our Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airmen, and Coast Guardsmen do. Especially when if this whole thing doesn't go anywhere these people and our veterans will not be paid.

Yep...I'm also not happy that my veteran's retirement pay and disability pay may not get to me if these jokers don't do something.

I understand your frustration ComputerBreath, but are you happy with Obama's military career?
