Exactly! the ony sticking point with Obama seems to be $3 billion dollars. They agree on almost everything else including closing loopholes. Obama can't get rid of that tick he has of saying taxing the rich. His class warfare is all he is trying to dig up to save this next election. It has nothing to do witht he good of the country. Throw everything else at it that they almost all agree on and forget $3 billion dollar spit in t the bucket.

Heck we are paying $67 Billion PER YEAR to the IMF and they gave Greece $157 billion and now Greece wants more. Well we have been told that we are getting close to where Greece is. WHY are we paying in $67 Billion per year to help bail out other countries when we can't pay for our own? Take that times 10 years and we saved $670 Billion compared to the $3 billion that obama is holding this hostage over!

You can raise taxes all you want but then there will be more deductions, more loss and etc etc, so they offset the tax hike.
That is where a GOOD CPA comes in over an accountant anyday.

I love it, in one post the conservatives here blast Obama for not keeping his promises, in the next post they blast Obama for keeping his promises........get a grip, you can't have it both ways.

It's up to the poor and the middle class to take all the hits on this.

Obama claims to want to stick it to the rich, but clearly he is all talk and no action. How many taxes has he raised on his Wall Street buddies? Guess he prefers that that his millionaire friends like him and continue to donate to his campaign. If you look at the record Obama has actually given more money to the rich than to the poor than W by reducing social security taxes.

So you can continue to support the man who thinks you are someone he can fool by preaching wealth equity but not delivering.

Would you suggest I vote for a Republican? which one of the many choices isn't gunning for SS or medicare? Which one has suggested that we close the tax loopholes for corporations? which one has suggested that we include an increase in revenue along with cutting spending? Which one is in favor of creating a health care system that includes ALL Americans? Which one is for protecting a woman's right to choose? Which one is concerned about our climate and our environment? Which one supports equal rights for all Americans to marry the person they choose? Find me that candidate and I'll vote for him/her

Here is the problem. At this point, I think we need to put many social issues on the back burner. We won't have a country to worry about a woman's right or the climate or gay marriage if we don't elect someone who is economically intelligent and experienced and can turn this economy around. We HAVE to vote for who ever can save our economy first and foremost. Heck I would even vote for someone who wanted to legalize gay marriage, and supports abortions (although I am strongly against it), and give up many other social issues I believe in for someone who can fix the economy and unemployment and the deficit. We will never find the perfect candidate but we can never elect a community organizor / young congressman with no economic experience what so ever and no accomplishments in their past again! If you start putting all the less important social issues in there that aren't going to change anyway, (Roe V Wade won''t be overturned so get over it) then you vote in someone like Obama who has created the largest number of food stamp recipients in history.

I can see why you can only come up with a personal attack here. I come up with a $670 Billion dollar saving while you adn Obama are fighting for $3 Billion to pay down our trillions or else he will withhold SS checks. Good response!

And FYI, he has broken 95% of his promises to ALL Americans including the Dems and he decides to hold up our budget now over $3 billion? He is so cluelss and is making this election easier and easier no matter who runs.

Sorry Viking....but I'm not going to try to solve one problem by creating twenty more....and so far I haven't seen a Republican candidate with two working brain cells......I think you all have dredged the bottom of the barrel this election. The least \scary of the bunch is Romney, I don't like him much but he isn't certifiable like Bachman. Really.....do you think this crop is worth voting for?????
