You do know that Bohner, Reid and Pelosi already agreed on a bill and obama basically go told them to stick it because it didn't make it past his election right? So they ALL compormised and came to an agreement and Obama is the only one saying NO. But he will come on TV tonight an LIE and say it is all the Republicans.

They are pretty much the only state with a balanced or close to balanced budget.

OMG, turned it on for a few and hw is using the lies and scare tactics again!! Threatening SS and welfare and military checks when it is proven that we have enough to pay it. I would say to impeach him but I want him to run as he will be such an easy one to beat!

He basically said, "vote for me and I will tax the rich and protect your unsustainable entitlements." Could have saved alot of time.

All I see coming out of this is a last minute, last ditch, short term effort to keep this sh**ty government going Aug. 2, and then a replay. Only the confidence in our financial markets will be further damaged resulting in more business paralysis and more anemic growth.

Actually you're wrong.....Reid and the Democrats have a plan that will raise the debt ceiling through 2012 along with more spending cuts than in the R's plan, Obama approves of this plan. I still would like to see your source that Obama turned down a plan from Reid since he says he is in favor of Reid's plan. The Senate apparently likes this plan and Obama said some R's are on board with it.....Boehner has a plan that will only raise the debt ceiling for 6 months, along with some modest cuts with more promised to come "sometime". The house likes this plan, but the Senate does not.....so stalemate for now.

Actually 4 other states have balanced the budget now too. And a couple went from deep in the red to in the Black. ALL governed by Republicans and their congress controlled Mostly by Republicans too! Nikki Haley, (Louisiana) Mitch Daniels, (Indian) Scott Walker, (Wisconsin) John Kasich, (Ohio)...all kicking butt. And the last two the dems want to try and throw out of office in their state. THAT is how totally brainwashed and out of touch with reality the Democrats are! Throw out the only successful governors! :bash :bash
