Actually you're wrong.....Reid and the Democrats have a plan that will raise the debt ceiling through 2012 along with more spending cuts than in the R's plan, Obama approves of this plan. I still would like to see your source that Obama turned down a plan from Reid since he says he is in favor of Reid's plan. The Senate apparently likes this plan and Obama said some R's are on board with it.....Boehner has a plan that will only raise the debt ceiling for 6 months, along with some modest cuts with more promised to come "sometime". The house likes this plan, but the Senate does not.....so stalemate for now.

I am not wrong. They ALL agreed on the 2 tier plan until Obama said no.

Joe wrote: He basically said, "vote for me and I will tax the rich and protect your unsustainable entitlements." Could have saved alot of time.

And Boehner said...."you voted for us to create jobs and cut spending....well we haven't created any jobs, and we're actually going to cut less spending than the Democrats, while simultaneously letting the country default and ruin our economy and a lot of your lives.......How do you like us now??????"

Again you ramble and make no sense. They have been in office 6 months and Obama won't let them pass anything. And on top of that it is the first 6 months with out of control spending since Obama took office. They DID stop the out of control spending that they were elected to do. Good for them!

He KNOWS that even if he gives them everything but that, they will still say 'no'... He will PROVE to the American Public that the GOP is only interested in saying 'No'; (and they already have a 55% negative rating)...And then he is free to take them down. He will lead them right down the path to going on record that they want to cut CURRENT SS payments to retirees; they want to throw seniors off of Medicare; they want to screw the disabled and poor off of Medicaid... As soon as they've done that, it's over ....

Ya, the way the country is rolling in the dough these days, why would we possibly want a balanced budget amendment? Seriously.

Looks like the Speaker schooled the President tonight. I'm now certain President Obama is the worst thing to happen to the US since President Carter. Then you throw in Senator Reid and Representative Pelosi and I shiver. Where did we dig these a-holes up from anyway?

No problem, we will soon see the country divided into smaller countries, and then we will all have to have papers.

This was from today

Reid says he won’t support a two-tiered option,

http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/27 ... les?page=1

Nancy Pelosi has only said that a two tiered plan was discussed, but not agreed to......

Following the meeting in Boehner’s office, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) confirmed that a two-tiered approach was under discussion, and suggested that revenues would be included in the second tier.

So tell us, how did you get from there to saying they had agreed to a two tier approach and Obama had rejected it? I have asked for your source several times.

I googled everything I could think of to come up with your conclusion and could find no verification.

I know I saw the ACORN guys waking them up in their boxes and giving them a T shirt if they voted for them.

Not just drawn a line in the sand... It sounds like Obama walked across to Boehner's side and drew the line there.... I'm disgusted.
