Exactly! Where are their bleeding heart stories about city kids joining gangs and getting shot at a youn age? Should they not be allowed to walk in the streets or have friends until thye are 16 or 18 now too?

But if a kid gets killed or seriously injured because a parent allowed them to operate a piece of machinery that dangerous is NO accident. It's parental negligence.

So if they allow their kid to live in a dangerous neighborhood and they get shot should they go to jail too? Or if they get killed by lightening because they were out in a storm should they go to jail? Or if they die os SIDS in their crib should thye go to jail? Or if they die of a heart attack playing basketball or they get hit in the chest by a baseball and die should they go to jail? You would have every parent in jail for negligence. Accident happen.
