The seeds for this situation were planted decades ago....and have been ignored by each party ever since. But I firmly believe that there is a small group of people, AKA the Tea Party, who have taken this opportunity to promote not a viable solution but an ideology that could be very bad for this nation.

I am not sure what the so called tea party did or did not do. I dont care much for them. I do like West though, but I would have to do some research to see what they did, I will agree though if one group did this to try and puff thier chests out then you are correct. This is not about trying to prove who or what you are, it is about taking care of this country like you were voted in to do.

So you admit the Dems did it. Good to know. And the policies Obama will put in place will total well over $10 trillion, not just the $4+ trillion so far in 2 1/2 years.
I've never claimed that the Democrats did not have a role in our profligate spending nor share in the blame for our debt. Unlike many of the conservatives here... I recognize my own party's responsibility....all I hear from the conservatives here is its all the Democrats fault.

Because it is an 'add' sign. They think that anytime they add to something it is better. Unemployment, the debt, spending, czars, regulations, taxes, new laws, more government control. Anything added is good to them.
