I don't know where you got your question. I never said or inferred that. Special interests want their piece of pie and yes they'd prefer not to have the apple cart upset.

Fat chance of Obumabeing reelected. More spendulous that will fail and create an even bigger debt, housing market taking yet another dive, etc. But we need all this so that people finally get it that Obuma is not the hope and change he promised.

IN NOVEMBER 2014, WE HAVE A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY TO CLEAN OUT THE ENTIRE HOUSE AND ONE-THIRD OF THE SENATE! DONT BLOW IT!

Indian man spend all day hunting and fishing; all night having sex. Only whit man dumb enough to think he could improve system like that.” Indian Chief Two Eagles

Another conservative who would rather see the country fail than have Obama be successful. Party before country...never thought I would see the day where being a Republican would be more important to some people than being an American.

Sometimes i just can't believe your responses Archer. It has nothing to do with party and everything to do with a failing economy. Some just can't see the disaster until it hits them square in the face.

You can keep claiming it has nothing to do with wanting Obama and this country to fail, but your posts say otherwise.

I find it interesting that you are here to support Obama for re-election, respond to everything in a partisan way and then claim to be interested in our country. Are you trying to tell me that Obama has lead this country toward recovery??? Or for that matter shown any leadership what so ever?

You read what you expect to be there...not what I actually post. Unlike some here...I want my country to succeed no matter who is president or what party is in power. Not once during the Bush presidency did I hope for him to fail or want the country to do badly so we would get a change of party. Love of country trumps party and ideology every time. I have always advocated a balance between the parties in the government.

So archer, this is what really bothers me. I know you probably don't give a poop and that's fine but just hearme out. I feel the EXACT same way as akilina and I care very much about this country and it's success; not because I want to live that much better, but so that my kids will at least have what I had.

It baffles me that you would make such a judgement just because akilina feels as I do that the way Obama is handling the economy is wrong, especially the spending that seems to keep being wasted. This is our opnion...that fact that it doersn't jive with yours does not mean we want the country to fail...the future means as much to us as it does to you

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

I didn't base my judgement on one post, but on a body of work here....What I read is that many on the right want the economy to stay bad for the next 14 months, that unemployment will stay high, so Obama will be defeated. That is what I saw in Alkilina's post. I don't question your desire to have him defeated, just what you are wishing for to bring that about. (the "you" refers to the conservatives/tea party in general....not you specific") I wanted Bush out of office in the worst way....but I would never wish the economy to stay bad....or in Bush's case the wars to go badly to accomplish that. I care too much about the country.

The smartest thing Obama has said recently is that the American people don't have the luxury of waiting 14 months for congress to act on SOMETHING....if not Obama's plan, then some plan to create jobs and help those in this country in dire straights. But I fear the partisan attitude of lets just let the economy dump, and then Obama will be defeated, is as rampant in Washington as it is on message boards.

edited to add.....if the economy starts to pick up, and unemployment goes down, do you think the GOP can still win the election? If you don't, then you have the wrong candidates running.

No offense archer, but I think you are dodging a bit. I'd just like to see the evidence that conservatives or tea partiers want the economy to go bad simply to get a conservative in office. What would we get other than a late start fixing an even worse economy than we have now? How did you benefit from Obama being elected other than he shared more of your ideology?

This same story line was started by Limbaugh when he said that he wanted Obama to fail...Obama to fail, not the economy. The economy is not dependant on the masterminds in washington, it's pretty good at taking care of itself when allowed. But it's the ideology and lack of understanding the free market that scares me and other conservatives. I'd love Obama to death if he made a bold move to restructure the tax code, eliminate uneccessary regulations, and stop trying to guide our future to a progressive vision.

So I don't want Obama to fail in reviving the country, I just 100% believe his "change" is wrong and will hurt the country. JMO
