In a nut shell it is a plan that calls for a tsunami of tax code simplification. If he wins the nomination the details of the plan will depend on the size of his landslide, how many more r's he sweeps into the house and senate and how afraid of him they are.
edit: re heir apparent. That is the establishment POV, the voters still have a say.
I believe I said it before, a 9% federal sales tax on top of the state and local sales tax will shut down consumers so fast this economy will go into a tail spin. When consumers shut down so does retail, and what is it students that drives the American economy?.....consumers. Cain needs a few economy lessons before he continues to spout his 9, 9, 9 plan too loudly.
as an example. the state and local sales tax in Phoenix is almost 10%, add Cain's 9% you have nearly 20% tax on everything that is sold. Now if you are a m illionaire like Cain, you just add that to the cost of buying what you want.....if you are middle class you take a long hard look at that car, or couch, or new TV, and decide that it isn't worth it, or you can't afford it. what's 20% on a new $40,000 car? $8000.
How is that going to help our economy?
Are you saying they didn't mean it, or we should discount what they said because they are running against him? If that's the case, why even have debates?

ARE YOU EVEN SERIOUS? If you are, you really do need to stick to cows falling into wells.
