You ready to pay 9% on top of your next house purchase? Auto purchase? Hospital bill? I'd love to see you say you'd be okay with that...

You don't think the price you pay for that new car is inclusive of the 7.65% privilege to have employees tax of the manufacturer of the parts, the assembler of the parts and the dealership that sells the car?!! Or the 35% corporate income tax?! Plus the standard markup on those costs that every business adds for their profit margin?! You can't be that clueless, can you? Tell me something LJ, how much of the cost of a new car do you think is the hidden cost of the current tax structure tire that the consumer remains blissfully unaware of?

Are you really so naive as to think that those long hidden costs of doing business will disappear if a corporate tax rate is lowered? Right, like the cost of gasoline goes down at the same rate the cost of a barrel of oil does.

You can't be clueless enough to ignore the fact that the sticker price of the car (that you agree to pay) doesn't include the state tax and this new 9% tax on top of it. Howl all you want about the supposition that every cent of the taxes along the way are included in the price--- (hint: they aren't)... But 9% on top of the local, county and state taxes is another 9% any way you split it...

Now, let's talk about someone buying a $100-200,000 home.... (Another $9,000 to $18,000 added to the price....)

Idiot....

Of course it will not "JUST DISAPPEAR". It would be legislated out of existence by a congress that is terrified of loosing there jobs by an electorate that would elect a maverick like Cain.

Hmmm... Would that be like the GOP refusing to renew the FAA's authorization to collect the taxes on airline tickets (that goes into the fund to upgrade and maintain airports and air safety). You mean like all the airlines that suddenly found that they didn't have to collect those taxes, but just raised their prices and pocketed the money...rather than passing it on to the customers?

Yeah, like I can see Detroit passing along the savings in reduced auto prices... rofllol

Leave it to LJ to attempt to equate what any rational person easily sees as a temporary situation that will be quickly resolved with a permanent and predictable change in tax policy. She may ne that much of an idiot, but she shouldn't presume the rest of us are similarly afflicted.
