Maybe you don't "feel any pain" but you sure as heck can't discuss politics (or anything else as far as I've observed) without getting nasty. Forgive me for thinking that might have indicated some kind of pain on your part. I guess some people are just nasty for no reason at all.

You'd be suprised- I almost never run across people like you with a knee jerk reaction - who is obiviously not conservative with a reply like that - either I get some mousey response (democrat) or I get agreement. Many times I can tell I'm talking to a Obama voter who has turned reluctant and I can get a few minutes to stick a few ideas into that confused soul.

Most people actually seem to agree that Obama is communist- or at least is leading the country down that path- they don't call it inflamatory at all. The insinuation that I am extremist and inflamatory gives away your position on the spectrum- you are a moderate- and I'd bet you have voted for liberals in the past.

You'd loose that bet. I've always voted for the most fiscally conservative candidate.

Fiscal conservative, social liberal. Not really moderate on either subject, although I consider the function of the government to be 99% fiscal, so the fiscal issues sway my vote every time.

Obama's not a communist - he's more of a fascist, He wants to control those in the private sector with the wealth, but doesn't want the responsibility of ownership. He wants all the power, but none of the responsibility.

Bush made some bad decisions, and he also lacked to guts to make some hard decisions. Now we have another president who has no idea how to help the economy, and has absolutely no guts to make the hard decisions.

Don't know if any of the reps running for pres have the guts or not. Campaigning is one thing, actually making the tough decisions is another. If not, we will be stuck with an absolutely horrible 2 term president, or an unknown who may be horrible, may not be.

People at my work know I'm a conservative. Most people are if you drop the rhetoric and just go over the issues. I rarely find true liberals in our line of work.

I'm also a Fiscal conservative and a social liberal.

But I like to bring up politics as a topic of discussion - and yes I am blunt. I don't hold back my opinion that liberal politics is destroying America. Too many people are not talking about it and we wound up with Obama.

We need to keep the pendulum swinging the other way now.

I'm a libertarian who wants the government out of every business except that which the constitution outlined 200 years ago- I think that the wisdom of the founders still apply today- and that we all would be far better off with a limited government more like Jefferson wanted.

I've already accepted the fact that I'm not going to get that- not with all these socialsts around who think that government is the answer for everything.

If he's a socialist than so was practically every President since Calvin Coolidge.
