There are free reproductive services... where have you been?

But they are not free to everyone like Obama is trying to convince everyone that they will be under his compromise - those are only free to the poor. Birth control falls from the heavens like manna, didn't you know that Twin? No one has to manufacture it, or distribute it, or pay for the controlled dispensing of it to the populace - it magically appears, free of charge, for everyone who wants it!

What's that you say, it isn't "free" to the insurance companies or employers and they are simply adding another $600 dollars a year, plus profit of course, onto the premiums to cover the cost? They aren't actually giving it away to anyone that wants it for "free"? That can't be right - Obama promised that his health initiatives would lower the cost of insurance and health care, not raise both of them - and we all know Obama would never, ever, tell a deliberate lie purely for political purposes or to participate in pure demagoguery, don't we?

 Sorry - I simply couldn't say it with a straight face - I tried to though.........honest.

No problem. I need a good laugh once in a while. It helps puts my feet back on the ground. All our American socialists have to do is go to any English language European newspaper website, any day, any paper and find numerous articles detailing how the entitlement governments and cultures are falling apart, piece by piece, country by country. You would think it would be a warning to our teat-suckers. Well the wine is fine but the hangover is going to be a bitch.

What is the old saying? An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure? In time I believe that making preventive medicine available without co-pays will encourage people to avail themselves of those services and bring down the cost of medical care. We wont need to spend as much on expensive cures if we help people prevent a disease or catch it early. Birth control, readily available and cheap or free, can also lower the number of unwanted pregnancies and abortions. I've actually seen conservatives here suggest we promote birth control over abortion. Good idea?

Birth control is not a disease... sex is not a disease... a fetus is not a disease... reproductive medical services is already available "cheap or free". Abstinence is the cheapest method. An ounce of abstinence is worth a pound of unwanted pregnancies.

Your reading comprehension sucks GOP...I didnt say birth control or sex or a fetus were diseases. Perhaps paragraphs that have more than one idea in them are beyond your abilities. My apologies...I will try and simplify my posts for you... maybe a 3rd grade level.

Trying to have a discussion with you is an exercise in futility...you either can't understand complex ideas or you purposely misunderstand a post so you can post whatever you want with no regard to its relevance.

You too? What part of preventive medicine don't you understand?

There were two issues in my post...preventive medicine to lower the cost of healthcare and low cost birth control to limit abortions and unwanted pregnancies. I guess you all need a road map.

Wow, so once again, if it's not personally true for the Righties on this board, and in this zip-code, then it can be extrapolated to apply to all people everywhere...and if it doesn't affect you personally, then it must not be so..

Got it...
