For goodness sake --- what if Leonard Bernstein or Pinchas Zukerman decided that they would not play Christian music (they're both Jewish).

What if they both said

"This is worshipping another God, and even worshipping another prophet

(that's what the Jews think about the Christians worship of Christ)

Their orchestras would lose a large portion of their Repertoire
- no Bach?
- No Mahler ?
- No Beethovan?

Great point. Every Christmas I hear songs sung by famous Jewish singers about the birth of Christ. They must be much more tolerant people than this punk kid from Colorado.

Or thank them for raising a kid who stands up for what he believes in and isn't one of the sheeple. Imagine that, a kid who thinks for himself.

That's what he objects to. Interesting that people condemn Christians when they say 'Christ is the only way to God', but a phrase like this is fine.

Would everyone on this board agree to sing "Jesus Loves Me"? Freedom of religion, freedom from religion. Would you all agree to sing a Satanic chant? And we all know there would be lots of support for a kid that didn't want to sing a Christian song if he and his parents were Athiests...am I wrong?

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Condemning or disagreeing with Muslim theology is politically incorrect. People who have to follow political correctness can't stand up for what they believe, only for what other people tell them they should believe. They don't even see their own hypocrisy when they condemn someone else for simply having an opinion or a standard that they go by.

The truth and evidence of my statement is in this thread itself. I'll point it out if need be?

The kid sounds like a religious-bigot-in-training... If that's not a "sheeple" I don't know what is... At least he'll be another potential member for the teabaggers.

Would you sing "Jesus Loves Me"? Would you support a kid who didn't want to sing a Christian song? Be honest.

I would, and I have... It's just a song, and means nothing to me other than a melody with words... I sing Christmas carols tool... Get over it.

The more important question is, would you support a kid who didn't want to sing a Christian song because he was an Athiest? Should we require kids to sing religious songs if it goes against what they believe? Your past posts would suggest that you believe in freedom FROM religion.

And if I recall correctly, you also support the removal of nativity scenes and the ten commandments from public places...they are just words and visual images...right?
