There is a difference between the public airwaves and cable TV, which is where Bill Maher had to retreat to. BM doesn't have to worry about advertizers anymore, but if enough subscribers cancel HBO because of his off-color remarks, he will be out of work too.

Her is the substance, we all pay for crap we don't like. If the catholic businesses want to be exempt from taxes but profit from the system , they should play by the same rules.
Non profit just means they don't pay taxes on their cash flow.
They benefit and if 98% of catholic women have used birth control and the medical experts define this as a health issue, they should not get another free ride.

The fact is that contraception prevents a medical condition known as pregnancy. It's not a dysfunction to prevent a womans body from conceiving.
