Rush Limbaugh Apologizes For His "Slut" Remarks.

 Good for him to admit he was wrong. You can disagree with the woman but no need to call her names.

But consider this, $3000 a year for birth control that she wants her law school to pay for? I hope she doesn't complain about how much tuition costs. I know I didn't even get free condoms provided by my university.

But I lived next door to the law school parking lot and those students were always leaving used condoms in the parking lot.

Just to clarify,it was not $3000 per year but over the course of law school (approx. 3 years).

"Without insurance coverage, contraception can cost a woman over $3,000 during law school."

From her testimony.

Every citizen should also get $1000 a year in free dental work...seems like that would be just as much of a "right' and definitely a legitimate health concern.

It was always the women, and above all the young ones, who were the most bigoted adherents of the Party, the swallowers of slogans, the amateur spies and nosers−out of unorthodoxy

And to further clarify...She wasn't asking for HER birth-control to be covered, and she specifically wasn't testifying about "birth-control"...She testified that the medications are used for OTHER USES than preventing pregnancy, and her best friend lost an ovary because she was unable to get the medication to keep a medical condition from getting worse.

(Of course, if you listened to Limbaugh you wouldn't have gotten the truth, because he doesn't deal in truth...He deals in lies, hysteria, and propaganda...)

Many of you seem to miss the point...most health insurance policies cover contraception/birth control pills and the only cost to the woman is the modest copay. If an employer or institution can eliminate coverage for this then the woman must cover the whole cost...just because of her employers religion which may, or may not, be hers. It would be no different than allowing an employer being able to deny cancer coverage in their policies or diabetes drugs.

So far, Quicken Loans, Cleveland Cavaliers, Carbonite, and bedding retailers Sleep Train, Select Comfort/Sleep Number, have bailed. I wonder how many more before he "gets it"...? Loss of advertisers seems to be the only thing that gets his attention.

And he's not even really walking it back... It's one of those non-apology apologies where he apologizes for his "word choices [as an 'entertainer']", but not what he said...

Misogynist schmuck. It's too bad that birth-control can't be retro-active on the Limbaugh side of the family.

Wait. Limbaugh said she wanted the government to pay for her pills and he's never wrong.

You forgot "prostitute"... And wanted her to post her videos because "she was having 'so much sex.'"

Yeah, after 4 wives, and a truckload of Oxycontin and Viagra, he would know about that...

He didn't admit he was wrong, he said "I chose the wrong words in my analogy of the situation." and "I chose the wrong words in my analogy of the situation". The guy is so full of BS that he can't even apologize straight. He didn't "try" to apologize until ad sponsors of his program started fleeing in droves. Don't think this is going to stop it.
