So far pretty well I think, I can't even recall when there has been a post about a conservative behaving badly when the righties here didn't trot out whatever they could dig up on a liberal doing it too. I predict we will soon get a post to the effect that liberals don't admit when one of their own makes a mistake so conservatives don't either. Or something to that effect. Kinda cool that conservatives can't do anything, even something bad, without a liberal role model.

You miss the big difference. Maher comments on public figures.
Rush was calling a private citizen a slut and prostitute, by name. I wouldn't be surprised if she sues him. What if it were your daughter?
He's also so stupid he:
1) doesn't understand how birth control pills work (you don't take one every time you have sex. It's not like Rush's Viagra)
2) doesn't understand she's not asking taxpayers to pay for them. She's asking that she be allowed to get them from her medical insurance that she pays for through the school.

I agree....it really is quite funny how the right tries to copy the left.....when, or if, they ever decide just what it is a conservative stands for, rather than what they are against.....then maybe they will come together as a party.
Rush stepped in it big time with this one and went way over the line attacking this woman. Lost advertisers and a law suit, I think he is probably finished. The show has gone downhill for years anyway, it was actually funny during Clinton's term. Now it is just a lot of Venom and regurgitation of Drudge pieces. Kind of like the 285 courthouse some days. LOL
