The Obama administration on Monday blocked a new Texas law requiring voters to show photo identification before they can cast a ballot out of concerns it could harm some Hispanic voters who lack such identification.
Obama obiviously thinks that people who were too lazy to get a drivers liscense or other government issued ID should be able to vote without proving that they are citizens- that they are voting within the laws.
Gee- I wonder why Obama thinks it's OK to vote without an ID? - Most state's don't even allow citizen's over 18 to be out in public without an ID. If asked by Law enforcement - anyone over 18 in Colorado is required to present an ID.
Lets just let these people vote anyway- there's no way anything could go wrong!
Just another bunch of lies. There is no law in Colorado requiring anyone to possess an ID in public. But hey, why not make up things for your outrages.

Colorado has a “stop-and-identify” law- it is Colorado Colo. Rev. Stat. §16-3-103(1).
The language specifically states that law enforcemant may require you to identify yourself. This also applies if you are driving- or just walking down the street.
Some “stop-and-identify” laws, such as Colorado's,[19] require a person detained to provide additional information, including an address and written identification if it is available. The wording of the Colorado law is similar to New York's in that it does not appear to impose a duty on the suspect; likewise, a violation of the Colorado “obstructing” law appears to require use or threat of use of physical force. However, the Colorado Supreme Court held in Dempsey v. People, No. 04SC362 (2005) (PDF) that refusing to provide identification was an element in the “totality of the circumstances” that could constitute obstructing a peace officer, even when actual physical interference was not employed.
But hey- why distract from the fact that the law requires every voter to be a lawful citizen of the USA. You want to grant people without an ID the right to vote?
As I posted, no law that requires anyone to possess an ID in public. And it is a lie that the "real ID act" requires every citizen to have indication. It merely sets forth the standards that the states must use when issuing DL and IDs in order for those to be used for 'official federal purposes" such as travel on airlines. No one is required to have one despite your assertion.
What is despicable is the lies by conservatives in order to intimidate others and to create false outrages.

Fox news Sunday just had a story about voter fraud in southern West Virginia. Seems the Dem sheriff loaded up the ballot box with fake absentee ballots after he was losing on election night by over 200 votes.

And there IS a law that requires every voter to be in the state lawfully- I'm sure Texas has a similar law. How are state officials supposed to enforce these laws if not by ID at the voter ballot?
These liberals are really quite stupid- and they assume the rest of us are as stupid as they are!
That's okay...Most liberals I know think the right-wing nutters are despicable too. Just a matter of perspective. By the way Texas is one of the states that requested a waiver to keep RealID laws from taking effect until 2013.
It's good that they blocked illegal voter-suppression laws....

What? The States have to tighten up how their f ID's are issued but you don't need to carry them to vote. That makes tons of sense, just continue to use fake utility bills to vote, right?
