Planned Parenthood Worried It's The Target Of New Undercover Sting

A string of suspicious incidents at Planned Parenthood clinics across the country has given the organization reason to believe that anti-abortion activists are targeting it in a new organized sting operation.

According to Planned Parenthood spokesperson Chloe Cooney, clinics in at least 11 states have reported two dozen or more "hoax visits" over the past several weeks, in which a woman walks into a clinic, claims to be pregnant and asks a particular pattern of provocative questions about sex-selective abortions, such as how soon she can find out the gender of the fetus, by what means and whether she can schedule an abortion if she's having a girl.

While patient privacy laws prohibit Planned Parenthood from offering specific details about the visits and where they occurred, Cooney told The Huffington Post that the incidents are so unusual and so similar to each other that they have raised concerns among the organization's executives that the visits are being recorded as part of a concerted anti-Planned Parenthood campaign.

My, my... Looks our little troll, O'Keefe is busy, busy, busy trying to setup another one of his undercover operations, to be shortly followed by selective-editing expose's. Too bad for him that the PP folks are on to him and keeping their network of clinics updated on his operations.

Sex-selection abortions are very popular in India and China, I have to think they are happening in the US too.

I wonder if PP would actually go ahead with scheduling a sex selective abortion.

Once established that it is permissible to destroy human life in utero and in vitro, is it such a stretch to think that it would not be permissible to destroy human life in utero based upon its sex? It might just be the one thing that gets the feminists angry about abortion if it is determined that abortion is selectively being utilized to destroy human female life instead of simply to destroy human life.

No, what makes feminists angry is extremist right-wing conservative MEN trying to tell women what they can do with their bodies, when, under the Constitution, it is a matter between a woman and her doctor. Women don't need men to tell them what they should or should not be able to do.

You don't like abortion? Don't have one.

You could also phrase it: don't like to kill, don't murder.

While your opinion may be that abortion is murder, science and the law disagree with you. The highest court in our land has ruled each woman has the individual right to make that decision themselves. Insistence that others should live according to your moral code, your opinion, demonstrates a refusal to respect others' individual right to make their own decisions.

In my opinion, those who refuse to respect others' individual freedoms, liberties, and rights to live as THEY choose should be deported - they are unAmerican....but that's just MY opinion. See, my opinion doesn't really mean much - just like yours.

Don't like abortions? Don't have one! Not your fetus? Then shut up. Show some respect to others so they may make their OWN decisions.

Regarding the thread topic: O'keefe is a lying punk manipulator...perfect candidate for another faux conservative "hero". Party of small govt, personal responsibility and freedom?...my ass.

Thanks for posting this LJ...hardcore Republicans will never change, but those in the middle need to be aware how much the hard-right hates letting women make their own decisions. Planned Parenthood is one of the great successes in our nation - providing women specific health assistance to MILLIONS of women who otherwise may not get any care. Regressives HATE.this and would rather women were unhealthy and dependent on men.

Science has established that abortion is the destruction of human life PV. Dress it up any which way you choose, the facts will not be altered by your attempts. There is not a single scientific doubt that the human life in the womb is both alive and human prior to being destroyed by the abortion procedure. Some may find it perfectly OK to destroy human life because it will inconvenience them in some manner, or it isn't the right sex, or it will not be a perfect human specimen in some manner, shape or form and congratulate themselves on their "progressive" outlook on life - but what they will never be able to deny is that by doing so they are sanctioning the destruction of human life in its most vulnerable form. Hitler, Stalin and Mao combined didn't destroy as many human lives as the sanctioning of abortion by "progressive" thinkers has. Congratulations - that is indeed something to be very proud of.

If you don't like abortion, don't have one.

Not your fetus? Not your business.

Dress it up with your irrelevant personal theology all you like. But as of NOW, it's legal, and it's none of your business.

If you don't like murder, don't do it?

You see it as ridding yourself of a unwanted growth or a tumour, but others see it differently, like ending a proto-life.

And while it my be the law here, it isn't everywhere, so there is room for debate.

You're right.. I don't see it as murder.

But if it's not your fetus, it's STILL not your business.
