I guess he changed his mind, he does that a lot.

Senior Republican strategists, including Madden, said last month that Romney would have a full campaign schedule, including in battleground states, during the week of the Democratic convention.

Perhaps he realized that he needs a LOT of help preparing for the debates, especially if they ask any foreign policy questions.

I really don't have an issue with him doing it. I want to see what it does for him. I personally think it makes him look tacky and desperate. My original point. If it works for him I am guessing others will follow suit. But so far Romney has not followed.

I want to see what happens.

It's a "Romney style" retreat to prepare for the debates. Romney is holed up in a $3.9 million "second home" to a former Lt. Governor.

Makes me wonder if they would think the White House is beneath them (not enough rooms and no car elevator) and live somewhere else, like some of our governors have refused to live in the Governor's Mansion.

This reminds me of the Clinton years. You guys cry about people having money but Bill Clinton used to get $200 haircuts and The Obamas vacation at Martha's vineayard and don't whine about how the deserve it. I am saying your statements are hypocritical. They have money too and always will.
