And we wonder why we we're so far behind the rest of the world in some things...
With Republicans, apparently mediocrity is king and anyone who argues otherwise is made fun of. Hence those who go to prestigious universities are called "elite" by the rank and file.
Hey, I was just trying to have fun with a cartoon, it wasn't directed at anyone in particular (I've been waiting for the right moment to use that one!). I'm glad Heisenberg is back, it's nice to have additional voices in here!
I'm all for holding people to higher standards when it counts (
I Won't Hire People Who Use Poor Grammar. Here's Why.
), but in a place like this, if you can't or don't want to take the time to improve spelling and grammar it's your own choice, and has nothing to do with your political affiliation and everything to do with how you want to present yourself. People know they'll get crap for it from time to time, that's inevitable so if they don't care, they won't feel the need to try harder especially if it's a challenge due to dyslexia. Pointing out mistakes says a lot about a poster too though.

But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

Discrimination?...As in: Educational level is discrimination? As in: ability to speak and write correctly is considered discrimination? If I'm an employer, and I'm hiring people and the choice comes down to two candidates and one CAN speak and write correctly, and the other one CAN'T, which one do you think I'm going to hire?
