Speaking of 9/11 ....

I am sorry, obviously this subject is too emotional for me. I apologize to anyone that thought I may have been snarky. I was not trying to offend anyone or be snarky.

One thing about forums or just people in general, it is pointless sometimes to explain to people that have no intention on changing their minds. It is sensible however to realize that and not push anymore. In my life I think of everyone as agreeable until they prove me wrong. Then usually when that bubble breaks my good opinion is lost forever unless they state otherwise and even then it is never the same but I am forgiving. This is not a judgement. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I am the one to blame for not getting it. It usually takes alot for me to get it.

As you may know by now, I love the Tao. One more last statement that illustrates my point. (I am not preaching) I am speaking of myself or politics here not about others.

Be good to people who are good and good to people who are not good.
That is true goodness.

Trust those that are trustworthy and those who are not trustworthy.
That is true trust.

When some people see some things as beautiful
Other things become ugly.
When people see some things as good
Other things become bad.

This is how I try to live my life. Emotion muddles it and takes over. LJ, I do stand behind my statement of my disagreement of your statements and tactics. And how far apart we are but I do get that we are far apart now. That is all I will say. And I agree with your right to say it.

Didn't you criticize LJ earlier for making it all about herself? You didn't have to comment at all on this thread, but you chose to put your opinion out there - fine,...now respect others' right to have opinions that may be different, possibly even contrary, to yours.

All I said is we are all American's today. Can't we all get along? After alot of bull sh*t, I found out the answer is no. LJ confirmed that she believes "all Republicans are out to hurt every living thing and only care about themselves and money." Not one person called her out on it. That tells me you are not wanting to discuss anything and you all say you want to but it seems to be about power and control of this forum.

I am a woman and there were many WOMAN and the convention. Now I don't give a g** damn about how many women were there. What I care about is respect and discussion and of all you guy's saying you want real discussion you have not called out that ridiculous statement. So, don't play this with me. I have in the past posted all kinds of interesting articles thinking that they might appeal to one side or the other.

Yeah, I thought she was making it about her because she thought just accepting a compliment was being nice. And when I realized I should have stayed out of it I apologized but you can't even respect that. The comments that go on here from people who profess that Republicans and Tea party members are hateful racists are mean and and hateful in themselves with their comments over and over with no objectivity at all. I have also defended LJ in some mean things that have been done to her in the past. Now if you can't try to understand then there is nothing else to say is there? I am tired of constant attacks. If you all are good with it fine, I can post in other places. These sites are about entertainment, sometimes my comments are made to be fun and are said for effect. VL and I go back and forth but that comment that LJ is just here to give what she gets showed me a ton and you all should have something to say about it. It means you don't want to talk you want to attack. If you agree great but why talk myself blue in the face to those who have no intention of respecting my views.

You are correct CG, there is a small handful of posters here that seem content on daily drive by copy/paste bashing, name-calling, snarking and ruining the forum, its been this way most of the year. Most people have given up and left the courthouse.

I gave my opinion about the biggest hater making an inappropriate thread on a day we should all at least try to be nice to each other. IMO it's appropriate to point out, you can disagree and I won't care.

Are you omnipotent? How would you know why "most people" have left the courthouse?

If they want a moderated sugar-coated forum perhaps they'd be happier on Pinecam.
